Around Town - Lifting the Mood

When my days get busy and I’m not able to get out for walks or errands in town, I feel it. I feel disconnected, disjointed, and downright moody. And then I have a day that buoys me.
Just a quick visit to the Tax Assessor’s office today to pay property taxes, and I met new(ish) employee Thomas, who was so helpful and patient. Then on to The Orchard Cafe where I splurged on a piece of lemon pie and chatted for a few minutes with community folks. Last, I stopped at the Post Office where LaTanya pulled my packages before I even handed her the slip with my box #. She always wears a smile! This is #whywoodville My mood is lifted when I interact with its best resources—its people. They make you feel welcome. Always.
